Responsibilities: Senior Data Administrator
responsible for developing the logical database design
as well as designing the overall database and tables
for the enterprise. Create and maintain entity relationship
diagram of the IS application modeling tools Reviews
proposed database structures and changes. In addition,
creates and maintains process model of the corporate
IS as well as a matrix of the IS. Participates in high-level
design walkthroughs with the client as well as the development
team. May be responsible for creating and maintaining
a data warehouse. Builds business models based on a
good business understanding.
Qualifications: In addition, it is
preferred that the candidate posses the following knowledge,
skills and experience at a minimum:
- 7+ years experience in Dimensional Modeling techniques.
- 10+ years experience in Relational Modeling techniques
- Demonstrated skill performing business requirements
analysis and documentation.
- Experience interfacing with IT professionals and
business customers.
- Experience modeling data with the CA Allusion data
modeling tool.
- Experience leading and conducting technical reviews
of database application and enterprise data models.
- Experience participating as a subject matter and
technical expert in technical reviews of database
application and enterprise data models.
- Experience creating and providing design artifacts
for technical reviews of database application and
enterprise data models.
- Demonstrate past experience with other large corporate/
government agencies through a portfolio of experiences
and references to those clients.
Desired candidate knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Experience with the Microsoft Visio modeling tool.
- Experience interfacing with health care professionals
and associated business customers.
- Skills and experiences with the health care insurance
industry subject matter domains.
