Minimum Qualifications: The candidate
posses the following knowledge, skills and experience
at a minimum:
- 2+ years experience ETL design and development with
Informatica version 6.x or higher.
- 3+ years experience in DSS and OLAP report development
using Microstrategy version 7.x
- Database Skills
. Advanced SQL skills on all DB platforms
. Experience with DB2 V 7 on the mainframe
. Experience with Oracle 9i on Solaris
- Informatica Skills
. Development of advanced mapping and transformations
using Informatica Designer.
. Creating and managing sessions using Informatica
Server Manager
. Migration of mappings and transformations from one
environment to another.
. General administration of Informatica environment.
- Business requirements analysis and documentation
- Business metrics definition and development
- Source to target analysis and mapping design
- Expertise in Dimensional Modeling techniques
- Business requirements analysis and documentation
- Source to target analysis and mapping design
- Experience leading and conducting technical reviews
of business intelligence applications and models.
- Experience participating as a subject matter and
technical expert in technical reviews of business
intelligence applications and models.
- Experience creating and providing design artifacts
for technical reviews of business intelligence applications
and models.
The following are desired candidate knowledge, skills
and experience:
- 3+ years experience in DSS and OLAP report development
using Cognos Impromptu and Cognos PowerPlay.
- Mainframe skills
. TSO, ISPF, QMF, Utilities
. COBOL skills (for DB2 stored procedures, extracts,
etc)
- Unix Skills
. Unix shell and perl scripting
. Oracle PL/SQL skills (Oracle stored procedures)
. Cron
- Experience with the CA AllFusion data modeling tool.
- Experience with the Microsoft Visio modeling tool.
- Experience with the Popkin System Architect tool.
- Experience with the CA AllFusion Model Manager tool.
- Experience with the Informatica Super Glue tool.
