Lockheed Martin (LM) awarded a contract to provide
MicroStrategy Report Training for U.S. Department of
Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
We will provide MicroStrategy Report Training for three
HUD CPD (Community Planning and Development) Systems:
IDIS (Integrated Disbursement and Information System),
DRGR (Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting) and GMP (Grants
Management Process).
These three systems support grants management activities
for the majority of programs currently administered by
CPD (CDBG, HOME, HOPWA, ESG, SPC, SHP, Section 8 SRO, as
well as the economic stimulus programs: Homelessness
Prevention and Rapid Re-housing, Neighborhood
Stabilization Programs 1 and 2, and CDBG-Recovery). The
operation of these programs involves over $8 billion in
grants. There are approximately 500 CPD staff who access
these systems for program data using the MicroStrategy
interface. The HUD users need a clear understanding of
the ad hoc reporting capabilities of these systems and
the optimum use of MicroStrategy to generate reports on
program accomplishments, outputs, and trends as well as
support enforcement and strengthen management oversight
of these CPD programs.
CORMAC will develop an online tutorial and provide
online training courses to HUD users located throughout
the country.

CORMAC is proud to
announce that it has achieved the Software
Engineering Institute's (SEI) Capability
Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level
(ML) 3 rating. CORMAC is now among the elite
group of small businesses in the federal
marketplace to be independently appraised at
CMMI ML 3.
CMMI Maturity Level 3 means that an organization
has a common set of defined and documented
standard processes used across the entire
company and subject to continuous analysis and
selective improvements. The key implication of
certification at this level is repeatability,
predictability, and consistent performance in
the methods and results of our work. The process
capability delivers many benefits for customers
including earlier and more effective resolutions
of potential defects or variances in project
progress against plan.
A team of appraisers led by Jess Martak, an
independent, SEI-authorized lead appraiser
conducted the appraisal. The team spent hundreds
of hours examining many types of evidence and
interviewing program leaders, corporate
executives, and project practitioners to confirm
that standard processes are being followed in 18
process areas, including project management,
engineering, and project support functions. The
company’s Process Asset Library (PAL) and
Processes were cited as a “Best Practice” by SEI
during CORMAC’s CMMI ML 3 appraisal.
